Dear Jesuit Alumnus,
Each of us holds a special place in our heart for Jesuit High School. The brotherhood formed and the stories shared link all of us together, no matter your year of graduation. As alumni, we realize Jesuit has the ability to transform lives and create “Men for Others.”
Jesuit has been so much a part of my life from a very young age. As a boy, my father, Jim Haitz ’80, took my brothers James ’08, Christian ’14, and me to many Jesuit ball games. At an early age I knew I wanted to be a Tiger. Now, as a proud alum, it is a true honor to serve as Director of Alumni at our beloved Jesuit. I have been blessed with this opportunity and look forward to serving the Jesuit High School Alumni Association as best I can.
Among my many goals are to coordinate alumni service days, where Tigers young and old will come together and help give back to the community. The Jesuit ideology of serving others does not stop after graduation; as alumni, we understand our duty to serve the less fortunate. I also hope to strengthen our networking system by serving as a link between younger alumni and more distinguished alumni in the Tampa Bay area, as well as around the country. We young alumni are fortunate to have joined a special group. I hope to strengthen this bond between generations and work to continue the success of our graduates.
The Jesuit High School Alumni Association understands what it means to be “Men for Others.” We understand it is our duty to help give back to the school that gave us so much. It makes me proud to see our alumni donations further advancing the mission of the school and helping others realize the special gift that is a Jesuit education. It is through the generous giving of our alumni, paired with that of the parents, friends, and Jesuit community, that we are able to provide financial aid to so many families and help make Jesuit the place it is today. Through your generous giving Jesuit continues to fulfill its mission of creating “Men for Others.”
I look forward to serving you and the entire Alumni Association, and if there is ever anything I can do for you or your family, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you and Go Tigers!
